Well, Hudson brought a mouse home. He got to bring home the book, If you take a mouse to school. Not only did he get to bring the book home but he also brought the mouse and a questionaire. We got to keep the mouse for a few days and we let him go places with us. One of the places he went was to Red Lobster. These are pics from his dinner out. We read the book every night and Hudson's favorite part was when the mouse played soccer. This was probably because Hudson is starting soccer soon.
It is such a good idea for schools to do programs like this. It doesn't take much and it really gets children interested in reading and spending time with their families. We had a great week and really appreciate his NEW SCHOOL and their efforts to involve families.
